About Benjie

Benjie Gillam is a founder and director of Brain Bakery Ltd. and GymFu Ltd. He resides in Southampton, UK with his beautiful wife, Jemma Gillam and son, Xander.

Having a deep interest in computers, Benjie knows a variety of programming languages and is quick to learn. He currently works mostly on Apple's iOS platform, though he also has a strong interest in web based development - especially HTML5 and JavaScript / CoffeeScript - but has enjoyed coding at the socket level since the late 90's (most recently via Node.JS), understanding many standard and non-standard protocols.

When he's not busy being a parent or programmer, Benjie likes to read, play computer games, and hack hardware.
